About Life Line
About Life Line Home Patient Care Service, Lahore
Home healthcare built around the patient, not the schedule.
Life Line Home Patient Care Service was started for a simple reason: too many families in Lahore were being discharged from hospital with a prescription, a dressing that needed changing, and no idea who to call. The choice was a long daily trip back to a clinic, or an untrained attendant hired on trust.
We built a service that sits between those two options — qualified nurses and properly trained attendants who come to the home, follow the treating doctor’s plan, keep a written record, and report honestly to the family.
Today we provide 13 distinct services across Lahore, from a single injection visit to round-the-clock ICU-level nursing at home, for patients of every age and condition.
Our Mission
Care Beyond Expectations
To make professional nursing care available at home in Lahore — safely, affordably and with genuine compassion — so that patients can recover, age and be cared for surrounded by their own family.
Dignity first
Bathing, toileting and dressing are handled with privacy and respect. Female staff are arranged for female patients wherever requested.
Honest advice
If a patient does not need a nurse, we say so and suggest an attendant instead. If a case is not safe to manage at home, we say that too.
Clear pricing
Charges are quoted and agreed before care begins. There are no additions to the bill afterwards.
Family communication
Daily updates to the family, including relatives living abroad, with a written record of medication, vitals and any change in condition.
Our Team
Qualifications and standards
Our staff are nurses, nursing assistants and trained patient care attendants — each assigned to the level of work they are qualified for.
Verified qualifications
We check nursing qualifications and practical experience before anyone is placed with a patient, and we match the staff member to the complexity of the case rather than to whoever is free.
Infection control
Hand hygiene, sterile technique for every invasive procedure, single-use disposables and correct sharps disposal. In home settings this is the single biggest preventable risk, so we do not compromise on it.
Reliability
Agreed visit times are kept. If a staff member is unwell we send a replacement rather than leaving a gap — which is the most common complaint families have about hiring privately.
Who does what
- Registered and trained nurses
- Handle all clinical work: injections and IV therapy, wound care, catheterisation, NG tube placement and feeding, vitals assessment and ICU-level home care.
- Patient care attendants
- Handle personal and supportive care: hygiene, feeding, mobility, repositioning, companionship and day or night duty. Trained in safe patient handling and pressure-sore prevention.
- Case coordination
- Every case is reviewed before staff are assigned, and supervised while care continues. The family always has one number to call — 0302 5286596.
Credentials & Experience
Why you can trust us with a family member
Home healthcare is a field where anyone can print a card. These are the specific, checkable things that separate a service from a phone number.
PNC-registered, qualified nurses
Our clinical staff hold recognised nursing qualifications and Pakistan Nursing Council registration. We ask to see the registration and the qualification certificate, and we verify practical experience with previous employers, before anyone is placed with a patient.
Male and female staff on the panel
Female nurses and female attendants are available across every area we cover, and are assigned to female patients as standard — not as a special request. For bathing, catheter care and anything requiring privacy, same-gender staff are the default.
Written records on every case
Medication given, vitals recorded, wound progress, feeds and any change in condition are written down and handed to the family. If a consultant asks what has happened at home for the last two weeks, there is an answer on paper rather than a recollection.
Supervised, not just placed
Every case is reviewed before staff are assigned and supervised while care continues. If a staff member is unwell we send a replacement rather than leaving a gap — which is the single most common failure when families hire an individual privately.
Experience across the full range of home care
Post-operative recovery, stroke and bedridden care, oncology support between chemotherapy cycles, dementia care, tube feeding, catheterisation, oxygen therapy and end-of-life care — each assigned to staff with experience in that specific type of case.
Care under the treating doctor’s plan
We follow the prescription and discharge instructions of your own doctor. We do not diagnose, we do not prescribe, and we do not alter a treatment plan — we deliver it accurately at home and escalate promptly when something changes.
What we will not do — and why that matters
- We do not diagnose, prescribe, or change a doctor’s treatment plan. Our nurses carry out what the treating doctor has written, and report back to them.
- We do not give an IV drip without a prescription, whatever the family asks for. Fluids are a medicine and the wrong one can harm a cardiac or renal patient.
- We do not take a case that is not safe to manage at home. Telling a family to go to hospital costs us the booking and is sometimes the only right answer.
- We do not send a nurse where an attendant is what the case needs. Charging for a qualification the patient does not require is not a service, it is a markup.
